Obituary of Christina L. Roberson

Hinsdale – Christina L. Roberson “Loving Mother & Grandmother” Christina L. Roberson of 5607 Route 16, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at the Cuba Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit, following a lengthy illness. Christina was born August 9, 1946 and was a daughter of Theodore and Freda Fluent Bish. On Nov. 27, 1964 she married her husband of over 55 years, Jerry P. Roberson, who pre-deceased her on June 6, 2020. Christina worked at Woolin Mills and then at Fancher Furniture for over 30 years, where she retired in 2008. She enjoyed playing bingo, quilting, but the thing that was most important to her was her family whom she loved dearly and enjoyed spending time with them and making a house a home. Christina is survived by; 5 children, Mary A. Skinner of Sinclairville, Jerry W. (Tommera) Roberson of Willow Springs, NC, Angel M. (John) Kemp of Limestone, Tina M. Lowe of Salamanca, BobbiJo (John) Bridenbaker of Hinsdale; 13 grandchildren, Aaron, Kathy, Bryan, Ethan, Hunter, Domonic, Lauren, Caitlin, Alex, Jackson, Addison, Isaiah and Cody; 4 great grandchildren, Jaden, Jake, Haley, and Aubree; 5 siblings, Pamela, Teddy, Aleta, Terry and Gwendolyn; and brother-in-law John. Along with her husband, Jerry, Christina was predeceased by her parents; a grandson, P.J.; 3 siblings, Fay, Penny and Thomas; and 2 son-in-laws, Paul and Ed. At Christina’s request, there will be no public visitation or services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean.
