Olean – Michael E. Fahy Michael E. Fahy, of 102 West Spring Street, passed away on July 15, 2021, at his home following an illness. Michael was born on April 28, 1945 in Olean and was a son of Ralph V. and Nellie Pierce Fahy. He was a 1963 graduate of Allegany High School. Michael served in the US Army from Sept. 22, 1963 to March 21, 1964 and then in the US Army National Guard until July 7, 1969. Michael worked for the 7-up Company for a period of time before going to work for the United Vendamatic Company in Olean for many years, until his retirement. He was a 50 plus year member of the Olean Eagles Club #616, where he served as a director/officer for many years. Michael was currently a life-time member of the National Eagles Club. He was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, Sr. fan and an avid bowler. Michael is survived by 6 nieces and nephews, Robert Peck, Sr., Randy (Marlyce) Peck, Debra (Michael) Brol, Sam (Lisa) Fahy, David (Nikki) Fahy, and Margaret (Louis) Shaw. Michael was predeceased by 3 siblings, Anna Jean Peck, Robert Fahy, and Ralph "Bud" Fahy, Jr. A Graveside Service will be held at the Allegany Cemetery in Allegany on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 11:00 am.
