Olean – Elaine J. Grimes “Loving Wife & Mother”
Elaine J. Grimes of 1517 Olean-Portville Road, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at her home.
Elaine was born Dec. 21, 1957 in Williamson and was a daughter of Alfred and Myrtle Megin Hadley. On July 15, 1982 in Portville she married her husband of 40 years, Terry L. Grimes who survives.
Elaine was a 1975 graduate of Williamsville High School. She began working at the Olean American Tile in the mid 1970’s where she continued to work for almost 40 years until they closed in Sept. 2014 and she retired.
Elaine enjoyed taking care of her family and home.
Along with her loving husband, Terry, Elaine is survived by; 2 children, Blake A. Grimes and Amber M. Grimes of Olean; 3 brothers, Wayne Hadley of Wilmington, NC; Harold (Dianne) Hadley and Reed (Betsy) Hadley of Williamson; 2 sisters, Shirley (Jeff) Corah of Eldred, PA, and Judith (Claire) Tusch of Wells, ME; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Elaine was predeceased by her parents.
