Obituary of Izora C. Maynard

Olean – Izora C. Maynard "Loving Mother & Grandmother" Izora C. Maynard of 207 S. Barry St., passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2021, at her boyfriend's house following a brief illness. Izora was born on Sept. 17, 1963 in Olean and was a daughter of Roger and Izora C. Clark Maynard. Izora attended Portville Central School. She worked at several jobs including, the Pines Health & Rehab, the Old Library Restaurant, the Rehab Center for about 10 years, Venture Forth, and the Microtel hotel in the housekeeping department. Izora enjoyed doing crafts and being outside, but she truly loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Izora is survived by; her long-time loving companion, Herman "Buddy" Farr of Olean; 4 children, Zach J. (Amber) Everitt of Olean, Nathan (Crystal Rolls) Hanson of Olean, Timothy (Stacey Holly) Hanson, Jr., Bruce L. (Kaylynn) Hanson of Olean; 14 grandchildren, Maddison, Dakota, McKenzie, Jeffery, Harlee, DyAndrah, Trenten, Miles, Laina, Brandon, Meleane, Kiyah, Raelee, and Allison; several siblings including, Joyce Maynard and John Maynard; and her foster parents, Tim & Sylvia Chase of Machias. Izora was predeceased by her parents, a granddaughter, Selena Hanson on April 23, 2017, and 2 brothers, Roger Maynard and infant brother, Frederick Maynard in 1961. Friends will be received for a Memorial Gathering at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean, on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
