Obituary of Gail K. Pegler

Olean – Gail K. Pegler "Loving Mother & Grandmother" Gail K. Pegler, of Eden Heights, formerly of LaPorte, MN, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the Olean General Hospital, following complications from COVID. Gail was born on April 15, 1940 in Nitro, WV and was a daughter of Earl and Iona Niles Meeks. On January 16, 1965, in Gahanna, OH, she married her husband of 42 years, John A. Pegler, who predeceased her in 2007. Gail was a 1958 graduate of LaPorte High School. She continued her education at the University of Missouri. Gail was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved to read, nature, playing Scrabble, solving crossword puzzles, and traveling. While Gail was traveling, she took the opportunity to live in Germany and Singapore. Gail is survived by; a daughter, Julie A. (Jerry) Musial of Hinsdale; a granddaughter, Holly (Tim) Selph of Ischua; 2 great grandchildren, Jack and Rayna Grodnier; 2 sisters, Linda (Jay) Emory of Washington and LaVerle Lundahl of Minot, MN; and many nieces and nephews. Gail was predeceased by her parents and 2 daughters, Jane Pegler in 1997 and Jean Pegler in 2012. At this time there will be No Public Visitation or Services.
