Obituary of Timothy M. LaRue

Olean – Timothy M. LaRue "Loving Son, Brother, & Uncle" Timothy M. LaRue, of 2009 West State Street, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021, at the Olean General Hospital, following an illness. Tim was born on October 7, 1973 in Olean and was a son of Mark and Cheryl Long LaRue. He was a 1993 graduate of Olean High School. Tim worked at SubCon for a period of time before going to work for 21 years at Burger King in Olean, where he was currently working. He was a member of the Olean Moose and Eagles club. Tim was an avid participant in the Special Olympics in all sports. Tim enjoyed bowling and throwing darts on the local leagues and playing softball, but he truly loved spending time with his cat Princess and his dog Winslow. Tim is survived by; his mother Cheryl LaRue of Olean; his father Mark (Gail) LaRue of Florida; 2 brothers William “Billy” T. LaRue of Olean and Michael (Caitlin) LaRue of Maryland; his nieces and nephew Shaylyn, Tré, Olivia and Harper; a step-brother, Shawn (Kate) Perrine of Massachusetts; a step-sister, Kimberly Broecker of Olean; step-nephews, Brandon and Robert; a Maternal Grandmother Joan Long of Olean; and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean today, January 21, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, where a Funeral Service will be held at 5:30 pm.
