Cheektowaga – Audrey M. Zink
Audrey Zink, formerly of Allegany, passed away peacefully at Millard Filmore Suburban Hospital on January 3, 2021, following a brief illness.
Born Audrey Mae Emerson in 1931 she was one of 10 children of Elwin and Anna Wida Emerson of Hinsdale, NY. In 1954, she married Paul William Zink, who predeceased her in 1971.
Audrey worked as an executive assistant for Allegany Central School in Allegany where she continued to live until 1976, and then for 3 different businesses in Rochester, NY and Florida. She was active in the Presbyterian church throughout her life. In her retirement, Audrey enjoyed taking trips to see her grandchildren and also traveled abroad to England, Spain and Italy.
Audrey is survived by four sons, Kevin, Brian, Craig, and Barry Zink, 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held in the future at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean. Online condolences may be made at www.LetroMcIntoshSpinkFuneralHome.com
