Westons Mills – Robert L. Pilon "Loving Husband, Father, & Brother" Robert L. Pilon of 1428 Chestnut Street, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at his home following an illness. Robert was born on November 4, 1971 in Olean and was a son of Roger W. and Rose E. Hollamby Pilon. On October 25, 2019, he married his wife, Bridget A. Smitson, who survives. Robert was a 1990 graduate of Portville High School. He worked at the Olean Times Herald for about 1 year until he went to work at Fibercell in Portville, where he worked for about 20 years, before he became ill in 2015. Robert enjoyed watching TV, motorcycle riding, and listening to music. Robert is survived by; 4 children, Robert J. "RJ" Pilon, Danielle (Kyle) Crowley both of Alelegany, Mackenzie V. Pilon of Weston Mills, and Dalton L. Pilon of Coudersport; 4 grandchildren; several step brothers and sisters, including 2 brothers, Ronald J. (Denise) Richardson of Olean and Roger W. Pilon of Weston Mills; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean, on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at which time a Memorial Service will be held.
