So very sorry to learn of Mary’s passing. I worked with her in the Labor & Delivery unit at Olean General Hospital years ago and have such fond memories! She was a truly wonderful person and we had some great times together working the night shift. I think if her often and while trying to track her down found this sad news. My condolences to the family, Mary spoke of Troyanne, Misty, Matt, Shane and Norm all the time. She surely made a difference in the lives of many and I will remember her always

Mary was one of the most loving generous people I have ever met. She gave countless hours of service to the Olean YMCA greeting folks and scanning their cards to let them in. It was not uncommon to see Mary cross stitching Christmas stockings for her family will sitting at the access desk. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Be at peace Mary!

My sincere condolences to Norm and the Moore family. Mary served on the School Board during my tenure as Superintendent at Allegany Central. She was an outstanding member of the Board but she was also an outstanding person. My wife and I really enjoyed her friendship over the years. She had that wonderful smile and was always such a positive force for kids at Allegany Central. One funny story centered around a new car Norm purchased. Mary wanted something spiffy and preferably in the color red. Norm was a bit more conservative and decided to purchase something more practical. When Kathy and I saw Mary shortly after the purchase she told us about the new car but obviously was not impressed with the vehicle. Her comment was fairly clear when she told us "Yea, Norm bought me a new car. It is a sh...y brown sedan". Mary always told it like she felt. Loved her!
