Dan was in my Paramedic class, and for those 14 months, he was the one of the people that made the class bearable. Every class, he would ask, "How's Liz doing today?" not out of obligation, but because he cared. That is the type of man he was. He was the person that even on a "bad day," he had a smile and looked at the world with the glass half full. He was an incredible man who will be truly missed.
