Bruce A. Bowen of 4346 Rte 305, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008 at home following a long illness.
Born Jan. 1, 1964 in Olean he was a son of Barton and Barbara Swartz Bowen. He enjoyed hunting & fishing & trapping and just being in the outdoors.
Surviving Mr. Bowen are his mother, Barbra J. Bowen of Cuba; his soul mate, Vicky K. Kline with whom he lived; a son, Eli A. Bowen of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Bryan F. Bowen of Olean and Brad S. (Laurie) Bowen of Ramona, CA; a sister, Brenda M. Bowen of Arkport, NY; and several nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles and cousins.
Mr. Bowen was pre-deceased by his father Barton Bowen.
Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #24 Genesee PKWY, Cuba on Friday, June 20, 2008 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at which time a Memorial Services will be held. The Rev. K. Richard Helms will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to the Cuba Ambulance Fund c/o Cuba Fire Department Main Street, Cuba, NY 14727 or to the American Diabetes Association, Buffalo NY Office, 315 Alberta Drive, Suite 102, Amherst, NY 14226 or to the National Kidney Foundation #30 East 33rd Street, New York , NY 10016.
