Mr. Paul E. Sandberg, 65, formerly of Allegany, died peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2014. Paul was born Aug. 31, 1948 in Olean and was a son of Carl E. and Lenora Ingland Sandberg. Paul was a retired postmaster and former postal inspector serving with the U.S. Postal Service for over 30 years. He was an avid turkey hunter and worked for the Quaker Boy Prostaff as well as serving as president of his local chapter for the National Wild Turkey Federation for many years. Paul's smile and fun-loving spirit will be missed by his three daughters, nine grandchildren, his sister, his family, and many friends. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home #646 E. State Street Olean on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 10:00 am to11:00 am, to share memories and laughter. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 am. His Cousin, Cristy Wise will officiate. Burial will be at the Allegany Cemetery.
