My husband and I knew Bill from working at Dresser-Rand and the golf course. He always had a smile and a hug to give. His heart was full of kindness and would have done anything for you. I used to see him at the nursing home with "Ma Bear". He was a very loving, devoted husband and did anything she needed to make sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed. We would talk and have some laughs together. Despite all he had to deal with and his sadness over her condition, if you had a problem he would gladly talk to you about it.
We are very sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed for sure. But have peace knowing he is now with "Ma Bear" and his suffering is over. Blessings to you all.
Sandy and Max Graves

Bill
My heart is sad since you went away
I am so thankful for the time that we had
Many laughs with a few tears mixed in
The miles that we traveled going here and there never once did we quarrel
But much fun we did have
I will miss you each day Bill As i have for awhile
But know you are in my heart til time comes and we meet again
To Bills family my deepest condolences for the loss of such a great man

"Wild Bill" was an old friend. We spent a number of weekends at bowling tournaments around the state over the years. Never a dull tournament with "Bill" on the lanes. We never got too thirsty on our way to or from any tournament as "Bill" knew all the watering holes (if you know what I mean)! He was a member of my bowling team for a number of years and a fine keggler he was! I also golfed with "Bill" in a few scrambles. He was one of my three witnesses at a golf tournament at 6-S when on hole #6 I holed a shot from about 160 yards out, boy did we need that shot as that gave us a bogey! "Bill" tagged me with the moniker "China-man" when I thought I was more of the "Mexican" variety. He lived a long life of "sparks & fireworks" and gathered many a friend along his path...we will all miss "Wild Bill".
