Obituary of Robert John Catalano

 

Olean – Robert J. Catalano     "Loving Father, Brother, & Uncle"

 

            Robert J. Catalano, of 319 North 2nd Street, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at his home following an illness.

 

            Robert was born on October 22, 1959 in Gowanda and was a son of Frank and Mary Louise Rupp Catalano.  He attended North Collins High School after which, he served in the US Army.

 

            Robert worked as a mechanic at an Auto Dealership in Lackawanna for 9 years.  He moved to Olean and became a volunteer EMT.  He enjoyed watching TV, listening to music, and living the quiet life with his 2 cats.  Robert rode his bicycle wherever he went. 

 

            Robert is survived by; a son, Robert Catalano; a granddaughter; a sister, Linda Gross of Versailles, NY; a stepbrother; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

 

            Robert was predeceased by his father, Frank Catalano, his mother Mary Rupp, and a brother, Larry Catalano.
