Obituary of Patricia C. Pantano

Patricia C. Pantano of Yuba Dam Rd., passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at the Olean General Hospital following a lengthy illness. Pat was born March 20, 1957 in Olean and was a daughter of the late Vincent and Helen Bender Pantano. She was engaged to Rick Foltz, who survives. Pat was a 1976 graduate of Hinsdale High School and also a graduate from Jamestown Community College with her associate degree in Computer Science. She worked for Adelphia Cable for more than 10 years and later for Sound Track in Allegany. Recently, Pat was the Secretary at Archbishop Walsh High School until about 4 years ago, when she stopped working due to her illness. She was a volunteer for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Pat attended the First Presbyterian Church in Portville. She enjoyed gardening, hiking, fishing, camping, playing her guitar with friends, and her pets. Pat was a friend to many and will be remembered as a very loving and caring person. Along with her loving fianc�, Pat is survived by one son, Sean (Reina Rodriguez) Schoonover of Olean; one daughter, Ashley Tilly; one grandson, Landon Tilly; three brothers, Flip (Barbra) Pantano of Olean, Paul (Mary) Pantano of Hinsdale, and Pete Pantano of Olean; two sisters, Pamela Fitzgerald of Wethersfield, CT, and Perian Dorson of St. Simons Island, GA; and several nieces & nephews. Pat was predeceased by her brother Pete's wife, Rebecca Pantano on March 22, 2014. Friends will be received Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street Olean from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Marilyn K. Hale, Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be at the Mt.
