Obituary of Larry M. Hudson

 

Allegany -  Larry M. Hudson "Loving Father & Grandfather"

           

            Larry M. Hudson of 1534 Upper Birch Run Rd., passed away on Tuesday October 9, 2018 at the Olean General Hospital, following an illness.

           

            Larry was born on October 17, 1943 in Bradford PA and was a son of Melvin and Aletha Andress Hudson.

           

            Larry graduated from Olean High School before he served in the US Air Force from April 15, 1964 to April 10, 1968. He worked for AVX before going to work for Dresser Rand where he retired after over 30 years.  Larry enjoyed traveling and working on his house which he built from scratch.  He loved bowling, math, science, reading & outdoor activities, including fishing and camping, but he truly loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

           

            Larry is survived by; 2 children, Monica T. (Steven) Harmon of Green Cove Springs, FL. and Daryl E. (Ariane) Hudson of Kill Buck; 6 grandchildren, Melanie, Tristyn, Jaedyn & Oakley Hudson and Bryton & Deanna Greenwood; a brother, Richard Hudson of Jamestown; and a sister Sharon Reed of Olean.

           

            Larry was predeceased by a brother, Barry Hudson.
