Olean - Claude M. Foster "Loving Father and Grandfather"
Claude M. Foster, of 401 Laurens St., passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at the Olean General Hospital, following an illness.
Claude was born on March 15, 1952 in Bradford, PA and was a son of Claude and Eleanor Duggan Foster.
Claude was a 1970 graduate of Olean High School. He was part owner in the Keystone Gas Station in Allegany, with his father-in-law for many years, before moving to Bradenton, FL, where he became a car salesman in 1979. Claude worked as a salesman in Florida for about 10 years, before moving to Fox Lake, IL. He worked as a salesman for Crystal Lake Chrysler and Plymouth, where he was the top salesman, for about 20 years, retiring in about 2010. Claude enjoyed socializing, talking, and being with his friends.
Claude is survived by; 6 children, Matthew L. (Christine) Foster of Olean, Christopher Foster of North Dakota, Michael Foster and Steven Foster both of Chicago, IL, Ryan Foster of Texas, and Adam Foster of Chicago, IL, and 5 grandchildren, Jayson, Hailey, Brock, Mattison, and Kayden.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State Street, Olean, today, September 28, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Online condolences may be made at www.LetroMcIntoshSpinkFuneralHome.com
