Doris M. Larson of 655 S. Union St. passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Absolut of Salamanca following a lengthy illness. Doris was born on Dec. 22, 1032 in Olean and was a daughter of the late Luzern J. "Zeke" and Irene A. Halsen Larson. She worked as Inventory Control Clerk at Dresser Rand, formerly Clark Brother for 40 years retiring in 1989. Doris was formerly a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling for about 35 years on different leagues in the Olean area. Doris also enjoyed going to St. Bonaventure Men's Basket Ball games where she has had season tickets since, 1966 when the Reilly Center was built. Doris is survived by three siblings, Donald J. (Barbara) Larson of Cuba Lake, Fredric E. (Karen) Larson of Olean, Sonya I. (Carlo) Borlandelli of Alamo, Ca.; and seven nieces and nephews, Diane, Daniel, Timothy, Eric, Lynn, Emily & Ryan. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State St., Olean on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Marie A. Meeks, Pastor of the Bethany Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be at the Mt. View Cemetery in Olean. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Bethany Lutheran Church, #1706 Leo Moss Drive, Olean, New York 14760. Online condolences can be made by clicking on the button above.
