Barbara A. Kosidlo, of 305 North 1st Street, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Absolut of Salamanca, following a brief illness.
Barbara was born Oct. 14, 1940 in Olean and was a daughter of Joseph W. and Celia R. Butinski Kosidlo. She graduated from Olean High School in 1958 and continued her education at Alfred State College where she learned to be a Medical Transcriptionist. Barbara worked in various jobs including being a transcriptionist with Kelly Services in Buffalo. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cats and traveling.
Barbara is survived by two sisters, Carol C. Kosidlo of Olean, and Deloris M. Green of Peabody, MA; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Barbara was predeceased by her parents; and a brother, Joseph W. Kosidlo, Jr. in 1970.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street Olean at 2:00 PM. The Rev. Gregory J. Dobson will officiate. Burial will be at the St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Online condolences may be made by clicking on the button above.
