Laura Grace Kingsbury, 98, formerly of Friendship, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at the Manor Care Nursing Center.
Laura was born on Aug. 7, 1916 in North Cuba and was the daughter of Walter and Grace Dodds Herring. On Jan. 11, 1936, she married her husband of 43 years, John Rodney Kingsbury who predeceased her in 1979. Laura had a great love of family and her flower gardens.
Laura is survived by two children, Shirley A. Kingsbury (Ward)of Andover, and Steven J. (Susan) Kingsbury of Newfant; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Along with her loving husband, Laura was predeceased by a brother, John Herring.
There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.
