Obituary of Robert W. Howard

Robert W. "Bob" Howard, of 605 Barnum Road, passed away Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, at his home. Bob was born Feb. 16, 1951 in Olean and was the son of Harry Howard and Florence Marie Swintak. On May 25, 1985, he married his wife of almost 29 years, Marianne E. Farnham, who predeceased him Feb. 16, 2014. Bob graduated from Olean High School in 1969. He worked for Dresser for a short time and then for Wise Potato Chips. Bob worked as a bus driver for Bluebird and St. Bonaventure University, until he retired due to his disability. He loved meeting new people, fishing, and hunting. Bob was known as "BonaBob." Bob is survived by his mother & stepfather, Florence Marie & Donald Mohn of Holiday, FL; two brothers, Donald (Kathy) Howard of Racine, WI, and Harold Howard of Daphne, AL; and one sister, Shirley Howard of St. Petersburg, FL.
