Olean - Ann M. Worth "Loving Mother & Siti"
Ann M. Worth, of 717 1/2 King St., passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Olean General Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
Ann was born on April 14, 1939 in Olean and was a daughter of Joseph and Josephine Nohra Moses. On Oct. 3, 1959, at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, she married her husband of 48 years, John R. "Jack" Worth, who predeceased her on March 28, 2008.
Ann was a 1957 graduate of Olean High School. She worked at a number of places in the Olean area, including Oakleafs, St. Francis, and then Community Bank throughout her life for 40 years, retiring in 2002. Ann was a life-long member of the St. Joseph Maronite Rite Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards and "taking a ride", but she truly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Ann is survived by; 2 sons, John R. (Lynn) Worth, Jr. of Spring Lake, NC, Jeffrey R. Worth of Atlanta, GA; a daughter, Jackie (John A.) Reed of Olean; 7 grandsons, Paul (Angela) Reed, Daniel (Sarah) Worth, Michael Worth, Nicholas Reed, Lucas Worth, Joseph Reed, and Samuel Worth; a sister, Rochelle (Max) Baire of Olean; 2 sister-in-laws, Carol Moses and Donna (Tom) Blessing both of Olean; a brother-in-law, Frank Kaduc of Olean; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her loving husband, Ann was predeceased by; a daughter, Annette Marie Worth; 2 brothers, Moses J. Moses and George Moses; and 9 sisters, Bertha Moses, Elia Abdo, Margaret Ehman, Emily Saab, Teckla "Daye" Maarsen, Lucille Kaduc, Yvonne Harris, Julia Joseph, and Eva C. Yorke.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State Street, Olean, on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, during which time and Incense Service will be held at 8:30 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, beginning with a prayer service in the funeral home at 9:30 AM, followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Maronite Rite Catholic Church. The Rev. Anthony J. Salim, Pastor, will celebrate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Allegany.
