Cuba – June H. Enos "Loving Mother and Grandmother"
June H. Enos, 92, of 9324 Beebe Hill Road, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at the Cuba Memorial Hospital, following an illness.
June was born on June 8, 1926 in Cuba and was the daughter of Elmer and Myrtle Baehre Hunt. On March 7, 1959, at the Christian Temple in Wellsville, she married her husband of 48 years, Alvin A. Enos, who predeceased her on December 12, 2007.
June was a 1944 graduate of Wellsville High School. She worked at Wellsville Air Preheater in the drafting department for a number of years, and then as a receptionist at ACME. June also worked at the cookie factory and was a health care giver to a number of family members. She was a member of the Cuba First Baptist Church for over 60 years, where she was an active volunteer.
June enjoyed traveling with her camping trailer and spent the winters in Florida. She had been to every state in the union except Alaska and Hawaii and was a member of the Cuba American Legion Auxiliary #8-40, where she was also the Historian.
June is survived by; a son Daniel M. (Karen) Enos of Cuba; 2 grandsons, Jason Kellogg of Nashville, TN and Jamie (Jenny) Kellogg of Almond; a brother, Allen (Sue) Hunt of Allentown/Wellsville; and a sister, Marjorie Hand of Wellsville.
Along with her loving husband, June was predeceased by 2 brothers, Jack Hunt in 1939 and Raymond Hunt in 2008.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Genesee Pkwy, Cuba on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at which time Funeral and Committal Services will be held. The Rev. Lynn Sullivan, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cuba, will officiate. Burial will be in the Cuba Cemetery.
