Obituary of Joann G. Lee

 

West Clarksville – Joann G. Lee     "Loving Wife, Mother, & Grandmother"

 

            Joann G. Lee, 78, of 8841 County Road 40, returned to our Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, following a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.

 

            Mrs. Lee was born on May 31, 1940 in Olean and was a daughter of Merlin A. and Ethel C. Milgate Harvey.  On Oct. 29, 1960 at the West Clarksvile Baptist Church, she married her husband of 57 years, Sidney Lee, who predeceased her on April 8, 2018.

 

            Mrs. Lee was a gentle person with a huge heart who will be greatly missed by her loving family.  Her love, support, guidance, compassion, humor, and young at heart way will be sadly missed by many.

 

            Mrs. Lee  is survived by; 3 children, Barbara D. Green and Mark W Lee both of West Clarksville, and Lori (Mike) Bauer of Oklahoma city, OK; 4 grandchildren, Ciji (Evan) Heiser, Kami Tyler, and Dylan Green; 3 great grandchildren, Kira Lee, Keenan Faulkner, and Clark Heiser; and 2 sisters, Virginia Throppe of Allegany and Marjorie VanCuren of Olean.

 

            Along with her loving husband, Mrs. Lee was predeceased by; a beloved grandson, Bradley D. Lee in 2014; and 3 siblings, Merlin H. Harvey, Helen Rogers, and Carol Jean Hardy.

 

            A Memorial Service will be held at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Genesee Pkwy, Cuba on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM.  The Rev. Karmon M. Wood, will officiate.  Burial will be in the West Clarksville Cemetery.
