Condolences from Jamaica. Sister Alma’s former students, including myself, from Alvernia Preparatory School here in Jamaica remember her vividly. Her positive influence has stayed with us over the past 30 years and I am sure will remain with us for our lifetimes.
Thanks you Sister.

To Sister Alma's Family,
I only knew Sister Alma when we were both already quite old but she never struck me as old. She was a joyful, talented, loving, energetic person whose time as the Allegany Local Coordinator must have been a real gift to her group of Franciscan Associates.
As an Associate in North Carolina, I met her several times when Associates and Sisters from all over the map got together at Franciscan Assemblies and various celebrations and meetings at the Motherhouse .
Her welcome into God's new plan for her will, I'm sure, be as joyful as was her life here on earth.
Peace and joy to you fortunate family members who claimed her as your own.

Sr. Alma, or Madeline, as I always knew her, was a dear cousin (daughter of my grandmother's sister, Alma)! As a child, she was always dragging me off to church, her favorite place! I will miss our games of "Words With Friends." She was always interested in how I, and my brothers, and our families were doing and loved reminiscing when we found old photos! Rest in the arms of our Lord, dear (Alma) Madeline!
