Obituary of Sidney Lee

 

 

West Clarksville – Sidney Lee     "Loving Husband, Father, & Grandfather"

 

            Sidney Lee, 78, of 8841 County Road 40, returned to our Lord on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the Olean General Hospital, following a long illness, surrounded by his loving family.

 

            Sid was born on June 6, 1939 in Arcade and was a son of Ross and Gladys Coohan Lee.  On Oct. 29, 1960, at the West Clarksville Baptist Church, he married his wife of 57 years, Joann G. Harvey, who survives.

 

            Sid worked as a construction worker and truck driver and was a long time member of the International Union of Operating Engineers.  Sid's strength, humor, and love of family will be sadly missed.

 

            Along with his loving wife, Sid is survived by; 3 children, Barbara Green, Mark Lee, and Lori (Mike) Bauer; 4 grandchildren, Ciji (Evan) Heiser, Kami, Tyler, and Dylan Green; 3 great children, Kira Lee, Kennan Faulkner, and Clark Heiser; and 3 siblings, Sam (Barbara) Lee, Vicki, and Sara (Bob) Graham.

 

            Sid was predeceased by; his parents, Ross and Gladys Lee; a beloved grandson, Bradley D. Lee; and 2 brothers, Warren Lee and Stan Houck.

 

            A memorial service will be held at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Genesee Pkwy, Cuba on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm.  The Rev. Karmen M. Wood, will officiate.
