Olean - Frederick J. "Freddy" Moricca, III "Loving Husband, Father, Son, & Brother"
Frederick J. "Freddy" Moricca, III, of 470 Indiana Avenue, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018, at Bradford Regional Medical Center from an acute illness, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Fred was born on Oct. 9, 1966 in Olean and was the son of Frederick J. and Donna M. Swendsen Moricca. On June 13, 1992, he married his wife of 25 years, Susan A. Livingston, who survives.
Fred was a 1984 graduate of Archbishop Walsh High School. He received an Associate's degree in Surveying from SUNY College of Technology at Alfred Tech in 1988. Fred also worked at Acerman's Surveying in Olean during his college years. After he received his degree, Fred began working in Rochester for Bergmann & Associates Land Surveying. In April 1990, he began working at E & M Surveying and Engineering in Bradford, PA, where he was still currently a Partner. He was a member of the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels. Fred was the President of the North Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors and a member of the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors, and a member of the Bradford Club.
Along with his loving wife and mother of Olean, Fred is survived by; a daughter, Sabrina E. Moricca; 3 sisters, Michelle A. (Dan) McGraw of Cuba, Elizabeth A. "Beth" Ross of Mount Pocono, PA, and Nicole A. Moricca of Olean; a sister-in-law, Holly (Douglas) Klotch of Tampa, FL; a brother-in-law, Steve (Annie) Livingston of Bradford, PA; 9 nieces and nephews, Matthew Ross, mark (Kristel) Ross, Benjamin McGraw, Zachary McGraw, Maggie rose McGraw, Adam & Jennifer Klotch, and Jason & Jennifer Klotch; and 1 great nephew, Brayden Ross.
Fred was predeceased by; his father, Frederick J. Moricca on April 9, 2017; his in laws, who considered him as their son, Guy & Anne Livingston; and a great nephew, Travis John Ross on November 28, 2014.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. 646 E. State St., Olean on Friday, march 23, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels, Olean. The Rev. Gregory J. Dobson, will celebrate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Allegany.
