Olean – Patricia A. Gaylor "Loving Mother and Grandmother"
Patricia A. Gaylor of 914 King Street, went to be with the Lord Friday March 16th, 2018, at her home home surrounded by her loving family.
Patty was born October 16th, 1958 in Olean, NY to William O. & Lois J. Gaylor, Sr.
Patricia was a graduate of Hinsdale Central School Class of 1976. Before her illness she worked as a manager at Auntie Anne’s and was a cook at East Side. She loved all of her customers. She formerly also worked at the Hinsdale Central School in the maintenance department. She was an active member of the women’s Auxiliary of the Olean American Legion and was previously a member of the Hinsdale American legion. Patricia spent many hours with her close friend Vicki Kremer indulging in their love of Yahtzee.
She is survived by her five children; Richelle Layton, Patrick (Jennifer) Layton, Joseph (Nicole) Layton, Susan Layton & Tyler Gaylor. 5 loves of her life: her grandchildren Kayleigh Forrest, Braden Layton, Julia Layton, MaKenzie Layton and Jaxson Layton. Her three brothers; William(Candy) Gaylor, Charles (Cathy) Gaylor and Michael (Kathy) Gaylor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as Aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents William & Lois Gaylor and two brothers; David C. Gaylor & Steven J. Gaylor.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Believers Chapel West 2522 West Five Mile Rd. Allegany, Ny. At 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday March 21st by Pastor Sean Obergfell. A memorial luncheon will be at the Olean American Legion at 12:30. All are welcome.
Patricia humbly donated her body to the University of Buffalo Anatomical Gift program for research . She was unable to donate any organs and wanted to help in anyway she could. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her name to Roswell or The UB Anatomical Gift program.
