Olean – Linda C. Hale "Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Sister"
Linda C. Hale, formerly of Olean, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at the Absolut of Salamanca, following a lengthy illness.
Linda was born on Oct. 29, 1949 in Olean and was a daughter of Harold Williams. She married Glenn Richard Stroud, who predeceased her.
Linda worked for ACME in Allegany for about 10 years before going to work for Housing Options Made Easy for a period of time. She enjoyed doing crafts, art, and going to bingo.
Linda is survived by; a son, Richard G. Stroud of Olean; 3 grandchildren, Lauren E., Alyssa A., and Alyson P. Stroud, all of Allegany; and 2 sisters, Betty Sweet of Jacksonville, FL, and Becky Cleveland of Olean.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State Street, Olean on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at which time a memorial service will be held. The Rev. Clara E. Wilder, Pastor of the River's Edge United Methodist Church in Portville, will officiate.
