Olean – Frances "June" Conley "Loving Mother, Grandmother & Sister"

Frances "June" Conley of Olean, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Penn Yan Manor, Penn Yan, NY following an illness.

June was born on November 29, 1927 in Angelica, NY and was a daughter of Helen and Clarence Westfall. She was formerly married to Roland "Poley" Carter, who pre-deceased her on July 5, 2013.

June graduated from Rushford Central School and also attend business school in Olean. She operated Carter's Market with her former husband Poley for 20 years. She then, became the office manager and friendly face who greeted patients at Dr. Gordon Sear's dental office in Olean for 40 years.

After she retired, June volunteered for a number of years for Home Care & Hospice of Olean, as well as the Olean General Hospital. June enjoyed traveling and spending time at her camp in Belleville, NY. But most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her daughter & son-in-law, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

June is survived by her daughter Sherry M. (Ira) Goldman of Penn Yan; three grandchildren - Sarah A. Goldman of Wernersville, PA, David A. Goldman Erie, Pa and Rebecca B. (Jared) Hayes of Goldsboro, NC; three great grandchildren - Helen, Sarah & Nora and a sister Linda M. Ellis of Fillmore and numerous nieces, nephews and other close family and friends. June was predeceased by her parents and her brothers Gerald, Alton "Jess", Bernard "Tim", William and Larry G. Westfall..

Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State Street, Olean on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Private Burial will be in the Bellville Cemetery, New Hudson, NY.
