Obituary of Perry E. Guthrie

Perry E. Guthrie of 315 North 15th Street Apartment #1, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Olean General Hospital, following a brief illness. Perry was born May 16, 1945 in Bradford, PA and was the son of Robert and Margaret Gump Guthrie. He grew up in the Bradford area. Perry lived in a number of places including Washington, D.C. and Malibu, CA before returning to Olean. He worked various jobs throughout his life. Perry enjoyed cooking, being outdoors, and talking to friends. He loved his extended family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially the kids. Perry is survived by his extended family including, Nicole (Adam) Gabler, their family, Raidon Miller, Orion Gabler, Evelyn Gabler, Amber Miller & her son Darren Fuller, Alyssa Otero, and Gigi Miller all of Olean. A Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, Sep. 24, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Harvest Field Outreach Center in Olean. The Rev. Doug Travis officiated.
