Jean M. Dhesi of 122 West Green Street, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, shortly after arrival at the Olean General Hospital.
Jean was born Nov. 4, 1937 in Beauharnois, Canada and was a daughter of Michael and Emma Lafleur Savada.
Jean was a member of the St. Mary of the Angels Church. She loved raising her daughters, especially Deloween. Jean enjoyed reading. She had a good heart and liked to help people, putting others before herself. She loved her cats.
Jean is survived by her mother, Emma Lafleur of Montreal, Canada; two daughters, Victoria M. Sherry of North Carolina, and Rita M. Dhesi of California; one brother, Carl W. Savada of Montreal, Canada; and one nephew & two nieces.
Jean was predeceased by one daughter, Deloween W. Sherry on Aug. 22, 2004.
Private graveside services were held Friday, April 11, 2014 at 9:30 am in the Mt. View Cemetery. The Rev. Gregory J. Dobson, pastor of the St. Mary of the Angels Church, officiated.
