Obituary of Patricia F. Wing

Patricia F. Wing passed away Friday (Oct. 23, 2015) at Absolut of Allegany following a long illness. Patricia was born June 12, 1926 in Cuba and was a daughter of Howard W. and Wilma Briggs Fairfield. Patricia worked as a secretary for Prudential Insurance in Olean. She was a very active member of The Allegany Baptist church, serving on several committees. Patricia was a very social lady. She attended and enjoyed the Hinsdale Guys & Gals, taking trips and eating out. Patricia was an avid crafter who loved needlepoint and fabric crafts. She also enjoyed her gardening. Patricia is survived by two sons, Mark Wing of Hinsdale and Steve Wing of Olean; a daughter, Lois (Rick) Jones of LaPorte, IN; four grandchildren, Jason & Aaron Jones of LaPorte, IN, Amanda (Scott) Hulbert of Olean, and Shawn (Amanda) Wing of Olean; a sister, Shirley (James) Dutton pf Falcon Heights, TX; and several nieces & nephews. Friends will be received at the Allegany Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at which time Funeral Services will be held. The Rev. Jonathan Colby, Pastor of the Allegany Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Cuba Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Allegany Baptist Church, #3236 Maple Avenue, Allegany, New York 14706.
