Diane A. Smith of 6266 Rawson Road passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 shortly after arrival at the Olean General Hospital, following an short illness. Diane was born on November 7, 1950 in Springville and was the daughter of Ralph and Alice Mack Kelly. On June 26, 1976 in the Cuba First Baptist Church she married her husband of 39 years Clifford A. Smith, who survives. Diane was a member of Cuba First Baptist Church. She work at AVX in Olean for 25 years until about 2001. She then went to work at Advanced Monolythic Ceramics in Olean for several years till she retired due to illness. Diane enjoyed doing Word games and was a volunteer at the Cuba Cultural Center. In addition to her husband Diane is survived by seven bothers & sisters, Gary (Virginia) Kelley of West Valley, NY, Elmer Kelley of Cattaraugus, Mary Allen of Little Valley, Charlotte Dalbeba of Little Valley, Art (Reno) Kelley of Ellicottville, Leo Mack of Ellicottville, and Janice Navicka of GA; and many nieces & nephews. Diane was pre-deceased by four siblings, Margaret Kenyon, Bernice Decker, Dean Kelley and Ralph Kelley. Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #24 Genesee Pkwy, Cuba on Monday April 6, 2015 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at which time funeral and committal services will be held. The Rev. Robert G. Beard will officiate. Burial will be in the Cuba Cemetery, Cuba. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cuba Cultural Center 38 East Main Street, Cuba, NY 14727.
