Candace S. Rouse of 3100 Cranberry Road, Cranberry Court Apt. #8, passed away Friday July 24, 2015 in the Buffalo General Hospital after an short illness. Candace was born on Jan. 5, 1935 in Bradford, Pa. and was a daughter of Clarence and Helen F. Thompson Moore. On Jan. 30, 1982 she married James W. Rouse, who pre-deceased her on Dec. 2, 1995. Candace was a 1953 graduate of Bradford High School. She worked as Nurses Aid at Bradford Regional Medical Center before going to work at Olean General, where she worked for 20 years before retiring. Candace enjoyed reading, camping and fishing. She will be remembered as a very out going person who liked and was liked by many. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels and enjoyed collecting horses and she was a member of the Allegany American Legion Lady's Auxiliary. Candace is survived by a sister, Bonnie B. (Anthony) Marceca of York, PA; a brother, Jerry D. (Patricia) Moore of California; three nieces; and three nephews. Candace was pre-deceased by a sister, Letha Joyce Moore in 1940; and a brother, Thomas R. Moore in 1942. Friends may attended a Graveside Committal Service on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 1:30 pm in Mt. View Cemetery, Veteran Field of Honor in Olean. The Rev. Suzanne M. Block, Pastor of the Christ United Methodist Church will officiate.
