Obituary of Denise Anne Rich

Denise Anne Rich, of Intermediate Care Facility, 488 Phelps Rd., was called to Heaven on Sunday, December 13, 2015, at the Newark Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Denise was born on May 15, 1953 in Olean and was a daughter of John and Anne Nicholas Rich. Throughout Denise's life she gave joy and inspiration to those who cared for her. Denise is survived by two brothers, Nicholas J.(Holly Sheehan) Rich of Phelps, and Joseph D. Rich of Olean; a sister, Mary (Holly Nidell) Rich of Olean; several nieces and a nephew; and two great nieces. Friends were received at St. Bonaventure Church, today, Dec. 15, 2015 from 9:30 am to 10:00 am, at which time a Mass of Christian Burial was held. The Rev. James Vacco, Pastor of the St. Bonaventure Church, officiated. Burial was in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany. The family is forever grateful to Linda Zadroga and the entire staffs of Route 488, Intermediate Care Facility and the 101 Cobblestone Terrace, who compassionately attended to DeeDee's special needs. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Rehabilitation Center Foundation of Olean, #1439 Buffalo Street, Olean, New York 14760.
