Patricia Ann Follett, of 1206 West Henley Street, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her home.
Patricia was born on February 15, 1935 in Olean and was the daughter of Theodore and Madeline Burdick Pacer. She was formerly married to James Thompson and Paul Kent. On June 6, 2000 at Christ United Methodist Church in Olean, she married her loving husband, Frank R. Follett, Jr. who survives.
Patricia graduated from Olean High School. She attended Westbrook Academy. Patricia worked for Sears & Roebuck and Montgomery Ward. She was a Real Estate Agent for Century 21 and then managed the Gift Shop at the Olean General Hospital. Patricia worked for Meals on Wheels for a couple of years. She retired around the year 2000.
Patricia was a long-time member of the Christ United Methodist Church. She enjoyed going to Bible Study on Tuesdays. Patricia loved Music and Dancing. She also loved working around her house, but her family was her pride and joy, and she loved them very much.
Along with her husband, Patricia is survived by seven children, Mark (Mary) Thompson of Hinsdale, David (Karla) Thompson of Oregon, Cheryl Thompson of California, Patricia (Ray) Ames of Oregon, James Thompson of Colorado, Anne (Jeff) Loncher of Olean, and Kathleen (Charles) Kwiatkowski of Olean; three stepchildren, Michael (Suzanne) Follett of Rochester, Sherri (Dan) Grift of Rochester, and Tracy (Frank) Russo of Greece; 16 Grandchildren;and several great grandchildren.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents; and two brothers, Theodore & Albert Pacer.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Christ United Methodist Church, with a visitation after the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State St., Olean, New York 14760.
