Obituary of Earl R. Hamilton

Earl R. "Bud" Hamilton of Route 16 South, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, at his home, following an apparent heart attack. Bud was born Nov. 1, 1948 in Salamanca and was the son of Earl R. and Sheila L. Senard Hamilton. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War from Jan. 3, 1967 to August 1, 1969. Bud enjoyed his motorcycles and also camping. He was a quiet man, keeping to himself, preferring a solitary life. He loved his animals, Great Danes, earlier in his life and more recently surrounded himself with his cats, showing them much love and compassion. Bud is survived by two sisters, Sandy Brower of Crystal Lake, IL, and Earla Clark of Jamestown; four nieces, Sandy Ann Beckman of Illinois, Sheila Wilkey of Cattaraugus, Kelly Ryan of Cattaraugus, and Tara Ryan of Otto; and three nephews, Michael Beckman of Cattaraugus, Trevor Whalen of Dayton, and Scott Brower of Illinois. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. View Cemetery. Full military honors will be accorded at the Mt. View Cemetery by the Allegany American Legion, Charles Harbel Post #892 Ritual Team. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E.
