Marcia A. Buckles of 820 Gleason Hollow Rd., passed away Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Marcia was born April 4, 1958 in Olean and was a daughter of Gerald and Patricia Hand Buckles. She and David M. Corwin, the love of her life, had been together for 22 years.
Marcia had attended Olean High School. She worked at Hills Department Store then Ames until it closed. She worked at the Front Street for Park 'n' Shop on in Olean for about the past 12 years, until she became disabled from her illness. Marcia enjoyed living a simple life with her family and she especially liked spending time with her grandson.
Surviving Marcia besides her Loving Companion, David, are two children, Jayson DiPaola of Olean, and Tricia M. Corwin of Portville; and one grandson, Lincoln A. Shearer.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State St., Olean, on Monday, Aug. 25, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Online condolences may be made by clicking on the button above.
