Bill A. Brown of 408 Irving St., passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Buffalo General Hospital following an illness. Bill was born July 31, 1963 in Albany and was the son of William A. Brown, Sr. and Sarah N. Stamp Stone. On June 15, 2002 in Olean he married his wife of almost 13 years, Tina L. Swift, who survives. Bill attended church regularly, specifically the Central Baptist Church and then the Epic Church. He liked electronics, video games, hunting, fishing and fixing things around the house. Bill truly loved his wife and enjoyed watching movies with her. Along with his loving wife, Bill is survived by one son, David Gertin of Delevan; one sister, Stephanie Stamp of Hornell; and one brother, Ernest (Rose Foster) Brown of Salamanca. Bill was predeceased by both his parents and a sister Sara Finch. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State St., Olean, New York 14760 on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 11:00am to 1:00 pm, at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Alan L. Yates, Pastor of the Central Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Green Cemetery, Great Valley, NY. Online condolences may be made by clicking on the button above.
