Michael A. "Milo" Belvees, of 811 Maple St., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at his home following an apparent heart attack. Milo was born Jan. 26, 1949 in Olean and was a son of Milo F. and Gertrude M. Rosia Belvees. He was a 1967 graduated from Olean High School, where he played football as a lineman. Milo and his partner, Pete Wallen, Owned and operated the Village Green for the past 26 years. He was a member of ST. John's Church. MIlo was deeply involved in the Olean Little League. He was a coach for 34 years and served on the Little League Board in various other capacities. Milo is survived by several cousins; his dog Noah; and a sister-in-law Donna Fox of Olean. Milo was predeceased by both his parents and a brother Joseph P. Belvees. Friends will be received at Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State St., Olean, on Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at 11:00 am at the St. John's Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. Edward J. Sheedy, Pastor, will Celebrate. Burial will be next to his parents in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Olean Little League 125 South Union Street, Olean, or to the Olean Sports Boosters and the Olean City School District Foundation 410 West Sullivan Street, Olean, NY 14760.
