Obituary of Neva R. Weatherly

Neva R. Weatherly of 2 South Park St passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008 shortly after arrival at the Olean General Hospital.
Mrs. Weatherly was born on June 5, 1917 in Hinsdale and was a daughter of Clayton and Aletha Osmun Benham. On Feb. 26, 1940 she married her husband Kenneth L. Weatherly who pre-deceased her on Nov. 8, 1985.
Mrs. Weatherly enjoyed reading and watching soap operas, attending the senior citizens luncheon and going the Grange to listen to County Music. She also enjoyed sitting on her porch and watching the children play in the park. But most of all she loved her family and enjoyed being with them and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving Mrs. Weatherly are two sons, Dale C. (Lois) Weatherly of Freeman, Virginia, and David L. (Debera) Weatherly of Cuba; five daughters, Sandra L. (Charles) Prentice of Angelica, Sharon A. (Joseph) Kowalski of Olean, Shirley J. Weatherly of Horseheads, NY., Sue L. (Charlie) Runyan of Wellsville, and Sara L. Alltaffer of Tampa Bay, Fla.; 28 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren; and a sister, Guyla Feuchter of Cuba.
Mrs. Weatherly was pre-deceased by two sons Donald K. and Dean H. Weatherly, a brother, Kenneth Benham, and two sisters, Deanna McAfee and Irene Benham.
Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #24 Genesee Pkwy, Cuba on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008 from 2-4 and on Monday, Nov. 24, 2008 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at which time Funeral and Committal Services will be held the Rev. Larry A. Poelma, Pastor of the Cuba First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Hinsdale Cemetery, Hinsdale.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cuba Circulating Library #39 E. Main St, Cuba, N.Y. 14727.
