Douglas H. Van Dixon of 205 N. Clinton St. Olean passed away unexpectedly in Erie, Pa. on July 1, 2011.
Douglas was born November 9, 1959 and is the son of Theodore O. and Beverly J. McInroy Van Dixon. Douglas graduated from Olean High School in 1977. He worked in a number of places including Dal Tile, Castle Restaurant, Bartlett Country Club where he worked on the golf course and did landscaping, and JCC. He lived in Florida for several years where he also worked at different golf courses and was a landscaper.
Surviving Mr. Van Dixon are three sisters, Drucilla Llewellyn of Olean, Dorian Van Dixon of Las Vegas, NV, and Deidre Ruiz of Kissimmee, FL; four nieces and nephews, including Kristin E. Turner of Olean; and two great nieces.
There will be no public visitation or funeral. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be made by clicking on the button above.
