Obituary of Luella A. Stark

Luella A. Stark formerly of 2861 W. River Rd., Olean, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Bradford Ecumenical Home in Bradford surrounded by loving and devoted family. Mrs. Stark was born April 16, 1922 in Olean, and was the daughter of LeGurn and Jessie Roblee Winsor. She was formerly married to Thomas F. Burlingame Sr. who pre-deceased her in 1966, John B. Evans who pre-deceased her in 1994 and Robert R. Stark who pre-deceased her in March of this year, 2011. Mrs. Stark was a 1940 graduate of Olean High School. She was one time employed by Spindler & Dunn Insurance Co. in Olean. Mrs. Stark is a former member of the Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed needle crafts, cooking, and church activities. Mrs. Stark is survived by two sons, Thomas F. Burlingame of Windchester, VA, and Roy D. (Debbie) Burlingame of Surry, ME; one daughter, Jean L. (David) Spence of Lewisville, TX; five stepchildren; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Carol Winsor of Olean; and one foster sister, Rachel Gross of Eden. Mrs. Stark is predeceased by a brother Donald Winsor on July 9, 2010. Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean, where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 2:00 pm. The Rev. Michael R. Sander, Pastor of the Five Mile Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery, Allegany.
