Obituary of Jesse W. Reeves

Jesse W. Reeves of 113 North 3rd St. passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 at Olean General Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Jesse was born on June 25, 1964 in Jamestown and was a son of Roger and Dorothy Swanson Reeves. On March 4, 2002 in Jamestown he married his wife Hazel Whiteman, who survives. Jesse is a graduate of Frewsburg High School class of 1983. Jesse worked at Rob's Nursery in Kennedy, Bush Furniture in Falconer, and at the Resource Center in Jamestown, before becoming disabled. He enjoyed spending his free time with his dogs, fishing, music, and bowling. Surviving Jesse besides his wife, Hazel, are his father, Roger Reeves of Lakewood; one son, John Reeves of Jamestown; two daughters, Adreanna L. Stephens of Olean, and Mary Reeves of Jamestown; two step daughters, Susan May Mattson of Bemus Point, and Alisha M. Stephens of Olean; one step grandson, Bradley Mattson; many nieces and nephews; six brothers and sisters, Douglas, Pat, Wesley, Steve, Linda Reilly and Connie Cochrane; and two close friends, Keith W. (Irene) Roberts of Cuba, and Timothy M. Galina of Olean. He was pre-deceased by his Mother. Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean today Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at which time Funeral Services will be held. The Rev. Chuck Maine, Pastor of the House of Restoration in Olean will officiate.
