Obituary of James M. Randall

James M. Randall of 1264 Sherlock Hollow, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 at home following an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Randall was born on March 31, 1949 in Olean and was a son of Walter J. and Katherine McCall Randall. On Aug. 12, 1972 in Norfolk, VA he married Frances Jean Bailey who pre-deceased him on July 1, 2010.
Mr. Randall was a 1968 graduate of Hinsdale Central. He served in the US Navy from Nov. 27, 1968 to Sept. 26, 1978. He began working in Hicky Dinning at St. Bonaventure University, where he worked for 17 years. Mr. Randall also worked for the Dina Restaurant in Ellicottville, Olean Wal-Mart and the Hinsdale American Legion.
Mr. Randall was a life member of the Cuba AMVETS Post 1, he also was a member of the Hinsdale American Legion, Hinsdale and Ischua Fire Departments. He enjoyed hunting & fishing, barbequing and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.
Surviving Mr. Randall are a son, Walter C. Randall of Hinsdale; four daughters, Tammy Lynn Russell of Panama City, Fl, Katherine J. (Keven) Nunn of Allentown, and Christina M. (Bryce DeWitt) Randall of Franklinville; eight grandchildren; one great granddaughter; four brothers, David W. Randall of Cuba, a twin, John M. Randall of Fort Walden Beach, Fl., Richard L. (Mary) Randall of Olean, and Donald L. Potter of Hinsdale; a sister, Kathy L. (Charles) Hummel of Highland, Ill; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Randall was pre-deceased by his wife, his father Walter in 1987 and a daughter Amy Sue Randall on March 26, 2002.
Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean on Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at which time a Funeral Services will be held. The Rev. Robert G. Beard, Pastor of the Hinsdale United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Hinsdale Cemetery, Hinsdale.
