Obituary of Ralph J. Querrieo

Ralph J. Querrieo, 56 of 33 Spring Court, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 shortly after arrival at the Olean General Hospital, following an apparent heart attack. Mr. Querrieo was born June 14, 1955 in Yonkers, NY and was the son of Ralph J. and Louise Casalbore, Querrieo, Sr. On June 9, 1990 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Olean he married Kim R. Winell who survives him. Ralph was a 1973 graduate of Rosemead High School in Rosemead, CA. He lived in Fontana, CA for a while and worked for Cal Spa & Bear Furniture. Ralph & Kim moved to Olean in 1993 at which time he began working for Ashley Furniture. Ralph worked in a number of their stores in the area and was currently a regional manager. Ralph's family meant very thing to him, he loved them very much. Ralph enjoyed being very active with his son, including going to all there games and sporting events. He also loved all sports and was an avid fan of Buffalo Bills, LA Lakers & LA Dodgers. Ralph will be remembered as a person who had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party. Surviving Mr. Querrieo besides his wife are twin Sons, Michael J. and Christopher L. Querrieo at home: a son, Anthony Querrieo; his mother, Louise Querrieo of Ca; one sister, Linda Querrieo Brandon of Salem, OR; his mother-in-law, Onalee J. Windell of Olean; and four nieces & nephews. Friends will be received for a gather of remembrance on Sat. July 2, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday July 3, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the Funeral Home. The Rev. Gregory J. Dobson, Pastor of the St. Mary of the Angels Church will officiate.
