Dorothy L. Morrison of 2054 Wilcox Road, Johnsonburg, formerly of 524 N. 7th St., Olean passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in the Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Mary's, PA. Mrs. Morrison was born on Nov. 18, 1926 in Eldred, PA. She was a daughter of William E. and Hattie Reed Bennett. On August 21, 1948 in Olean, she married her husband of 34 years, Clarence J. Morrison, who passed away Nov. 8, 1982. Mrs. Morrison enjoyed shopping, playing bingo. She formerly bowled on a Lady's League in Olean. But most of all Dorothy enjoyed taking care of her family. Surviving Mrs. Morrison are two sons, John C. Morrison of Johnsonburg, PA; and William E. "Manny" (Diana) Morrison of Eldred, PA; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Mrs. Morrison was pre-deceased by four brothers, Alvin, Stanley, Jr. and Ager Bennett; and four sisters, Jessie See, Esther Fleming, Janet Higher and Freda Lemon. Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean on Monday, June 27, 2011 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at which time Funeral and Committal Services will be held The Rev. Less Chamber, Pastor of the West Clarksville Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Allegany Cemetery, Allegany, NY.
