Ronald F. "Inky" Giardini, of Allegany, passed from this life Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Olean General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Ronald was born Feb. 27, 1944 in Olean and was a son of the late John Francis and Marion Janice Thomas Giardini. He worked at the St. Bonaventure cafeteria from 1962 to 1981. Ronald also worked at L'Alcove Restaurant and Mary's Diner as a dishwasher. He enjoyed riding his moped, playing games, doing puzzles, and watching movies, especially Western Movies with John Wayne. Ronald also enjoyed CB radios, where his CB handle was "Inky". He loved Trains, RV's, and American History.
Ronald is survived by four siblings, Gerald R. (Carolyn) Giardini of Allegany, Marjie A. (John) Hirst of Olean, Anita L. Giardini of Olean, and Sharon L. (Roger) Vincent of Houston, TX.
Ronald was predeceased by four siblings, infant sister, Linda Sue Giardini, Victor J. Giardini on May 19, 2005, Thomas E. Giardini on Sep. 19, 2011, and Michael L. Giardini on April 28, 2012.
Funeral Services were private. The Rev. James Vacco, Pastor of the St. Bonaventure church, officiated. Burial was in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State St., Olean, New York 14760.
