Obituary of Martha Jane Hollamby

Martha Jane Hollamby of 350 Front Street, Aspen Tower Apt. 612 passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 at home following an illness. Martha was born on Oct. 16, 1936 in Olean and was a daughter of Leslie W. and Nina E. Wilber Weatherley. She was formerly married to Glenn E. Hollamby. Martha worked for a couple of places including Olean Tile and the STELL. She was also the volunteer coordinator for "Meals On Wheels" for the Aspen Tower. Martha enjoyed crocheting, cake decorating & knitting doing crafts including scrap booking. Martha is survived by five sons, Glenn (Debra) Hollamby of Statesville, Georgia, David (Deborah) Hollamby of Cuba, Dennis (Maria) Hollamby of Portville, Steve Hollamby of Olean, and Raymond Hollamby of Olean; two daughters, Kathleen L. (Everet Dale Anderson) Mooney of Olean, and Dee (David) Confer of Suwannee, Georgia; and many grand & great & great great gandchildren; eight siblings, Robert L. (Eunice) Weatherley, Geraldine H. (Thomas) Weatherley, Daniel M. (Laura) Weatherley, Pearl R. (John) Brown, Paul S. (Joyce) Weatherley, James Carl (Margaret) Weatherley, Dorothy G. (Ben) Guerin, and Virginia A. Weatherley; and many, many nieces and nephews. Martha was pre-deceased by four brothers, Raymond J., Laverne A., Daniel M. and Gerald Weatherley. Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at which time a Memorial Service will be held. The Rev. Samuel E. Marchetta, Pastoral Care with Home Care & Hospice, will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Home Care & Hospices 1225 West State Street, Olean, New York 14760.
